I aim to share my love of yoga with a wide variety of people, and ALWAYS extend to those who want to try yoga for the first time. I encourage students to approach yoga as a way of life, to enjoy a practice and find the freedom that comes from the practice.

As a yoga teacher I work to foster a deeper understanding of student’s physical and mental bodies so they may become more adaptable and accepting humans; and this work begins at the individual level. I teach to facilitate a personal and creative experience where students are enabled to shift mental and emotional patterning to achieve balance and clarity in their lives, on and off the mat.

My style of teaching is rooted in the Hatha Yoga Tradition with additional emphasis on alignment, sequencing and breath. For the past 12 years I’ve taught a variety of yoga styles including Vinyasa, Iyengar, Yoga Nidra, Restorative and Meditation. I invite all people to my classes and at all levels, from very beginner to those with a long-standing consistent yoga practice.

My teaching approach is imbued with warmth and light-heartedness to nurture a safe and supportive environment for all practitioners. Students are inspired to broaden their knowledge of yoga and play with a variety of asana in this community setting. They are also encouraged to self-reflect, learn and explore through a physical yoga practice. I love to teach and offer up this enthusiasm to all students who come to share in a practice!
